Pickin'

One of the things we enjoyed most about summer in Stockholm was berry season. While there are many wonderful things growing wild in Kentucky, we don't have access to land where we can harvest. But in Sweden "all man's rights" allows anyone to gather wild plants, regardless of where they're growing. So, the thousands of blueberries near our apartment were all fair game! We were also lucky to be invited to the garden plot of a friend to help pick surplus berries. Luckily we had some good friends visiting to help!















Both Josh and Jake were in Stockholm during the peak of berry season.






















Amblen's philosophy was, "one in the bucket, one for me, one in the bucket, one for me, one from the bucket for me, one on the path, oops."






















But we ended up with plenty!






















Nothing like a good dip and a nice picnic to get the stains off your fingers!
