Utö with the Spellmans

Heading out to the Archipelago has become one of our favorite pastimes here in Sweden. So when Howard, Alex, and Thomas came to visit us we took a ferry to Utö and enjoyed a long weekend.



















































There was a small pond in the rocks in front of our stuga in which Thomas and Amblen took the opportunity to fish at every opportunity.


















































It was about 100 meters to the water and we Gaga'd our way into borrowing the stuga-owner's kayak to check out the coast.















































Being that the island was pretty large, Cindy got her wish to rent bikes circumnavigate.





















































Mmmmmmm, freshly smoked salmon sandwiches. . .





































































































Like all fabulous trips, this one came to an end with the setting sun and we returned to Stockholm for a couple of days of sight-seeing.
