Visitors!

Amblen waited patiently at the front window to provide a lookout for mom and Darlene's taxi. He started screaming every time he saw one go by (which led to many false alarms) but when he saw Mimi get out of the car we opened the window and yelled at the top of our lungs! Amblen was excited to have his life cereal and his Mimi! We had a great time...it was a busy week full of fun adventures, great food and excellent company. Here are some of the highlights!

First a trip to the old part of town, "Gamla Stan" ...it was rainy so we found Amblen a dinosaur umbrella which, ironically, Mimi ended up using!






































When better weather arrived we took the ferry to Djurgarden to see the animals and old houses at Skansen...it was a fun and beautiful day which also included a trip to the Vasa Museum.

On Thursday we went to the Ethnographic Museum and saw many interesting exhibits. They had a children's workshop for Dia de los muertos and Amblen and Mimi made a cool skeleton. We were also lucky to catch a documentary about the repatriation of a 150 year old totem pole the museum once owned... and to see the replica which had been built in its place. We ate at fantastic cafe in the museum and then took a walk to the water. Mimi and Amblen cut up on the back of the bus during our trip home!



































































No trip is complete without a trip to The Chocolate Factory!!!





















All Hallow's Eve (like memorial day)...but with candles in addition to all the flowers!































It was a fantastic week hanging out with family!
