Malmö, Sweden

We had a fantastic time in Malmö, Sweden's third largest city. The weather was perfect and the sun and sky were magnificent while we were there. The town has a very interesting mix of beautiful old buildings and high modern design.

This is the City Hall (Rådhuset) in the main square

We walked around the old parts of town, sat at a cafe and then decided to go to the Form and Design Center where they feature some of Sweden's most innovative designs in furniture, toys and household goods. Strangely enough, it was housed in one of the city's oldest buildings.

Ben particularly enjoyed the serenity chair

Amblen, no suprise, preferred the Brio exhibit

Afterwards we walked on through the old part of town and Ben took many great photographs

We found ourselves in a beautiful park with a Danish windmill. Ben and Amblen stopped for a little stretching and Tai Chi.

Soon the Turning Torso came into sight, one of the top destinations on Ben's list. It was really amazing. The weather, which went from gorgeous to ominous and back again within a half hour's time, made for some great photography.

Denmark and the Öresund bridge

The next day we went to the People's Park and played on the playground. Amblen had a hard time deciding if he was more similar to Spider Man or Charlotte. We had a great time!
