Swimming Lessons

I suppose some children are just more comfortable with water than others. I was so dismayed in summers past as Amblen refused to put his toes in the ocean or to get into the pool without holding on to one of us for dear life. I was always such a water kid and hoped he would be too. But, I guess it just took time. We signed him up for a Pike class at the YMCA and he took to the water like a fish this year. I guess he just needed some time!



















































































Amblen is very proud to have passed the Pike class. Next week he'll be joining the Eels. We told him that Moray eels are scary and he couldn't be more thrilled.
