We also took a trip to Mike and Gina's to visit with Papa Gary and Granny...but forgot our camera! We look forward to extending the holidays with the Kline family Christmas in early January! Photos to come!

Christmas Vacation 2006! - Walt Disney World

We put away the dickies and non-nutrative cereal coating and packed the bathing suits and mouse ears for the trip to Orlando. While the trip was not without mishap ('tis the season for nasty stomach bugs), we managed to have a wonderful time. Amblen and Ella were awestruck by the park and it was a delight to watch the guest of honor (Papa, who turned 65 on the 27th) giggle right along with them.

We went on a jungle safari on Papa's Bday,
it was Amblen's favorite ride.

We figured out the key to Disney...get up early. Although this was hard for some (especially since it WAS vacation) we managed to get out pretty early on two of the days. On Friday we walked right onto the Dumbo ride with no line!

After riding once Ella demanded "mo, mo, mo!" so we rode it again!

New Year's Eve...
After such a fun but tiring trip (and catching a bit of a bug), we decided to cancel our New Year's Eve plans and celebrated at home instead. We cooked a nice dinner in....blew our horns, popped our poppers, threw our streamers, and went to bed shortly after midnight. It was highly enjoyable.






















On second thought
...perhaps the horns and poppers were more fun for some than others...
